Indicative Itinerary
Departure from Bari and transfer to Gravina di Puglia. Explore the old and new parts of the city, where we'll wander among the rocks carved in the calcarenite, the typical stone of Murgia. Dinner and overnight stay in a family-run farmhouse.
Morning trekking in the Park of Murgia Materana with the rock churches and tasting of local products. Afternoon dedicated to the discovery of Matera and the Sassi (Barisano and Caveoso), the civitas, and then free time for everyone. Dinner and overnight stay in a farmhouse.
Excursion from Coreggia to Locorotondo along the Apulian aqueduct. Picnic with local products, visit to the village of Locorotondo and the trulli of Alberobello. Dinner in a farmhouse.
Departure for Gargano with a stop in Trani. Excursion to Monte Sant'Angelo with a visit to the hermitages and caves of Pulsano, scattered throughout the karst valley. Dinner and overnight stay in Monte Sant'Angelo.
The excursion begins on the ancient path, used by devout pilgrims to the archangel Michael since the Middle Ages, to reach Monte Sant'Angelo from the coast. Descend through terraced fields, half cultivated and half fertilized. Pass through small isolated villages until reaching a gorge to reach Mattinata. Free time to visit Mattinata and its charming beach. Dinner and overnight stay in a farmhouse in Mattinata
Trekking through a wonderful path that will lead us to the beach of Vieste. Beautiful cliffs sculpted by water and wind intersect its medieval city and its castle perched on a rocky spur above the famous Pizzo Munno. Free time to visit Vieste or relax by the sea. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Transfer to Bari and return flight.
