Taking slow steps, observing the beautiful paths of the Amalfi Coast surrounding us, appreciating and respecting the territory that frames these walks, it is definitely retracing the footsteps my father Francesco left for me, having walked along those paths that we have walked together many times and continue to walk today.

I'm Veronica and I'll tell you a little something about myself through "my paths" ...

The walks I propose to my "travel companions", immersed in a nature that offers breathtaking views of the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, are full of stories and legends about the history and culture of the past.

This creates a whole with the hikers who are able to appreciate the true treasures that Campania holds. These stories are made up of people who, through sacrifice, work and passion, still dedicate themselves to the care of excellent products, enhancing everything that nature offers.

My pride and respect for so much dedication and sacrifice finds its roots in the Sorrento Peninsula, deeply linked to a past "peasant world" during which I was supported by people who passed on to me healthy and simple values and principles. I can appreciate the little things that hold the true essence of life, such as curiosity, which pushed me to explore the world.

I lived and studied at the University of Vienna, Rotterdam, and Bologna, where I completed my university studies with a Master's in Marketing Management. Numerous solo travels, volunteer projects in South America, and in India. Thanks to these experiences, I have honed my language skills, allowing me to offer my  tours not only in Italian but also in English, French, German, and Spanish. However, the true discovery of these journeys has been nature, which I have been exploring in all the destinations of my adventures since then.

As a Technical Director of travel agencies, Tour Guide, but above all, Environmental Hiking Guide, I have been involved in the tourism industry for 10 years. Since 2019, I have been collaborating with international tour operators and travel agencies as a Travel Designer in the creation and organization of active trips, particularly trekking journeys in Southern Italy.

My first breakthrough

My trip to Peru at the age of 22, where I collaborated with a hiking agency, during a tour in the Andes, made me discover that this wonderful feeling of happiness could become my life's job. Back in Italy, I decided to commit, study and dedicate myself to active, green, slow and eco-sustainable tourism shoulder to shoulder with my father Francesco, who practices it with passion just like me, but boasts many more years of experience!

My second "big" turning point

In February 2020 and January 2023, my children, Massimiliano and Damiano, were born. From a young age, I involved them in mountain walks. This gave rise to a special project, a life project, which evolved into a desire to share all of this with them and with other parents of young children passionate about hiking and outdoor activities. Thus, the Babywalks were born: nature walks for adults and children (0-5 years) carried in a baby carrier.

The roots of my passion for hiking are so deep thanks to my father Francesco. My "paths" began when my steps were slow and above all small ... Francesco, my father, guided me and continues to do so today.

Veronica in three words: Guide, Hiker, Mom

Francesco

«I am very lucky  to carry out a job that allows me to share with others the beauty and breathtaking views of our Campania region. I try to promote the excellence of the Amalfi Coast that has given prestige and value to our community. The history and culture of the past with an enveloping nature, represent a unique value that I try to make appreciated by guests who discover them for the first time by walking along the most famous naturalistic walks such as the Path of the Gods or less known.Special attention goes to the stories of the people who with sacrifice, work and passion give us typical Campania products of excellence, taking care and enhancing what a territory like the Sorrento peninsula offers us.Making this simple and  silent world known also makes me proud because it reminds me of the life of sacrifices and work of my parents and relatives who contributed to the growth of our community.

My mission and my passion for hiking, for eco-sustainable tourism, is also gratitude to those who introduced me to a sometimes forgotten magical world. Mine is a journey with many memories of "others" who no longer exist today, who have passed on to me values and principles that have solid roots in the past farming world. My good slow steps are a thank you to those who taught me the pleasure of appreciating the little things, the true essence of life! "
