There are countless paths and hill roads, and this time we will walk one of them together that, although short, I guarantee you will be extremely exciting; a truly intense experience in the "Green" awaits you!
We will all start together from the small church of Santa Maria del Castello, which is located at an altitude of 670m, and being a loop trail, at the end of our walk we will return exactly to our starting point.
In the first part of our walk we will start with a bit of an elevation gain, we will be fresh and full of energy, so no worries, and then on our left we will have a wonderful view: the Amalfi Coast, Positano, Praiano, while behind us the peaks of the Monti Lattari, Monte Molare, Conocchia, Monte Faito!
Slow steps and a lot of emotion during the walk, admiring the beauty of these places!
Arrived at the foot of Monte Comune we could continue, but the path is "quite important" and to make this experience more relaxing and usable for families and younger children, we will deviate our route by heading to the right, abandoning the panoramic part and entering a small grove that expresses its best in the autumn period with the colors of its multicolored leaves.
Having walked the path through the woods among chestnut trees, alders, downy oaks and many other tree species typical of our area, we will find ourselves at Santa Maria del Castello, in our starting point.
During this walk, there will be some useful stops to admire the view or for technical reasons (diaper change and/or breastfeeding, etc.). These kinds of dynamics are managed at the moment according to the needs of the participants.
The purpose of this green experience, is to spend together a couple of hours or so experiencing positive emotions in contact with nature also to sensitize our "little hikers" towards simple and authentic emotions in respect of the precious heritage that our land offers us.
Recommended equipment
- Hiking shoes/sculptured sole 🥾
- Baby carrier such as a sling, baby carrier or backpack carrier 🦘
- Sporty, comfortable, layered clothing
- Backpack 🎒
- Water bottle/bottle of at least 1L per person 💧
- Spare clothes for you and baby 👕
- Nappies and wipes 👶🏽

- A medium-sized, even lightweight towel for miscellaneous (nappy change, breastfeeding, picnic etc.)
- A bag in case you have waste to dispose of♻️
